157. Remove the air ﬁ lter boxes from the air tube

assembly by loosening the retaining clamps with

a straight blade screw driver.

159. Remove the paper air ﬁ lter elements and

use a shop towel to remove any debris.

158. Un-clip the air ﬁ lter hoods from the ﬁ lter

boxes.

160. California spec cars only:

Ensure that the Vapor Elements inside the ﬁ lter

boxes are intact. Do not remove them!
